I wanted to use elevators in a map, but the 'Good enough for Science' instance didn't work very well for me and I had to reinstall Portal 2 Authoring Tools...

Anyways that's not the point, the point is that as an excuse for having to add the Potato, I decided to come up with a backstory instead of just saying 'Sorry about the potato' so I came up with this:

Being an experienced test subject at the Aperture Science Enrichment Center, you have gotten quite tired of the tests and very frustrated at their frequency. Once you came across a difficult test so you sat down to think about it. After a while you came to realize you where extremely hungry and you instantly came up with a plan. Using a combination of velocity, portals, arial faith plates, and the aperture science weighted storage cube, you broke the glass of the observitory room and than went through the same thing the cube did to get over there. Before GLaDOS noticed you made a run for it and stole a Potato battery from the 'Bring you Daughter to Work' day science fair, deciding to take a guess and see if it's edible.

You stick it on your portal gun and run through a series of tests that GLaDOS takes as regular tests, unaware you stole with the potato. The question is, will you make it out alive, and still have the potato to eat before you begin your long-term relaxation?

Anyways this is a map I'm working on so tell me what you think!

Was this inspired by my map, Sorry About the Potato, or just a coincidence?

Anyway, it's a cute idea.

I wouldn't want to eat a potato from Aperture, presuming it is around 50 years since bring your daughter to work day.

Doesn't "Map Properties" have an option to remove the potato? I once saw a topic with people spazzing about getting the potato off the Portal Gun.
