I've been making some exterior anvironments lately, but what I would like to use are those huge bars (as a prop_static) that are 'used to build test chambers on'. They make an open are look really nide, but I just can't find them in the list of world models . Is there anyone who knows the name of its model? A good example is CG-Oversized Test Chamber Storage Area. You can see them on the map thumbnail as well.

That map comes with a VMF, you should be able to help yourself?
Alternatively, play the map and type "r_staticpropinfo 1" in console to show the names of all nearby props.

Do you mean the enormous yellow beams in that image? I'm pretty sure those are brushes with the texture "metalbeam_bts_001c." There are a couple other "metalbeam_bts" textures you can use to make them different colors as well.

Yeah, they are just brushes with a small model where they meet.

I'm just throwing in a question here, regarding the same yellow construction beams: At a place where two of them cross they always have some kind of conjunction piece. Do you know which model this conjunction piece is?

Search for 'pillar', its in there somewhere. There are a few to choose from.
