Particles
About particles, I have a couple of questions
Is it possible right now to make particles for portal 2? I opened tools mode portal 2 in the authoring tools and all that came up was portal 2 now menu for particles
Is is possible to import particles from other source games? (making a particle in portal, and putting it in portal 2), do .pcfs have different versions?
I would also like to know how to replace the particles for the outlines of portals, not the color, just the outline, I already edit it
But I don't know where to put the particle to replace the existing one, anyone know?

Exactly, how do you edit particles in alien swarm
All the particles for portal 2 have checkerboards on them and they can't even load the Pcf files from the vpk (though they can load materials)
Is there a tutorial to get them to work somewhere?

Did you include your particle in the manifest text file?
I edtited it, not working. Add them to the update alone the skin working:

I think you have to overwrite the existing file in the vpk for the portal particles.
