Someone please slap me in the face!
It even took me a while to write this...
So... what can I do to make myself finish the mappack? Its only the boring parts left. I often(not really) start hammer make 1 tiny thing and then quit.
I find it very important that I finish it...but...yeah...
HELP ME!!!!

...But anyway, I have this problem all the time. It helps to listen to music. If you have an iPod you can listen to, use it. What I usually do is go on YouTube, find a song I like, and play it in the background while I work. If that doesn't help, try setting a deadline for yourself. It will help encourage you to get the map done. Taking a break should help too.

I played it in WIP, I REALLY REALLY LOVED it! If you're finishing it and upload it to SP more people will play and enjoy it!!!:D
I have three ways of motivating myself.
1 Watching one of my old wrestling videos pumps me up.
2 Listening to music with a good beat
3 Streaming movies, tv shows, or whatever on my second monitor while I map. That way you can watch a movie and work on your map little by little, until you get on a roll and really get into making the map.
-Sign out of friends (because chat messages are annoying)
-Get something to drink (coffee, energy drink, etc)
-Play music
-Map
What I also do is watch old beta clips of Portal and Left 4 Dead. How that motivates me, I have no idea.
Now lets see if I can get some work done!
