Alright Alright, I put my head down and got some proper frames in place. I'm still in the process of tweaking them. :smile:

Almost done with it for the most part, adding a few cosmetic details and I'll post a link up.

Yep looking very test chamberish with those frame windows.

P.S. @lpfreaky when did you get global moderator status? (Have I been blind? :razz:) Well done 'n' stuff.

Is there something wrong with VPK files? What do I do if I have a lightboard icons file for my map?? :notwant:

Dlc 1 broke them :sad:
If you want custom icons I suggest using skotty's lightboard-icon-generator; it provides a texture you can use :smile:

most people don?t care about custom info signs, seeing an empty 00 is something we?re used to :lol:

It does look much better to have a proper sign though. Its that sort of attention to detail that produces great maps. ( and can leave you working on the same map for yonks as well)

I agree it looks better with a sign; but I prefer a map without a sign over:
1) a zipped file, only to have the sign. Every map I download with this will never have that file in-game :lol:
2) a vpk; I know I can use a mod to play the vpk's but I just want to play it in portal 2.
3) a mod; just for a custom sign.

Usually I prefer just to have one .bsp with all the custom content in there. That's also what I do with my maps with custom stuff. (The Stories demo is an exception but I guess you'll understand that one :wink:)

Annnnnd I decided to skip the sign textures. I would rather just wait until the VPK stuff is fixed so I can implement it properly.
