[SP] Wall Bridge
Again, thanks for rating, the feedback and you can use my site to contact me.
To install just put the bsp in your steamapps/common/portal 2/portal2/maps folder. Use the console command map to launch it in game.
File Name: sp_wall_bridge.rar
File Size: 4.15 MiB

You don't have to use every element in this map (you don't have to use the blue gel, if you don't want to), but this isn't a bad thing at all. Good job. Thanks for creating.
I'm pretty sure my solutions not intended, as I stumbled through the map with my morning ciggie and cup of tea, and only realised I'd missed certain elements watching the video back. I'm guessing there's some trickery to suck the turrets through the ceiling hoover things... but well I'll fiddle with that later

I'm not sure how to rate the difficulty, as without stupid mistakes it would probably only have taken 4 minutes, but I enjoyed it all the same!
Anyhoo, my first blind run - hope it helps.
Anyways: excellent map; awesome details and it was a nice 7 minutes and 48 seconds spent!
Like sicklebrick I felt I skipped at least a part of the map I didn't touch the ceiling button either.
video uploading as we speak
EDIT upload is almost done:

I just realized I forgot to packrat the song. So i?ll upade that soon.
And yeah, I?ll work on a harder map next
Thanks for the videos
Could probably get it down to 30 seconds, and it's possible to take a couple of turrets into the elevator (they deserve a day out once in a while), but I lack the focus to do a proper speedrun :p
@sicklebrick I tried to do that speedrun also but kept shooting off the platform lol.

Pretty fun map.Didnt realize the bridge turned till halfway through it thou lol.
I've had the same problem with testers of one of the stories maps where this technique is also used. What I did is use two different buttons: One with the signage of a shield and one of the normal hard light bridge.
Button 1 (turn to shield )locks itself onpressed and unlocks button 2.
It also activates indicator lights 1 and deactivates indicator lights 2.
button 2 (turn to normal) locks itself onpressed and unlocks button 1.
It also activates indicator light 2 and deactivates indicator lights 1.
That way it's clear to players what each button does and which one you can use.
Hope that was helpful

I think the trick is to stop crouching as you exit
Wow, now you are making me doubt if I should add a panel to block that jumping from panel solution...
Its good to see that my chambers offer more ninja solutions.
Now, in a la tag, can you find the ninja move in chamber 2?
Edit, Updated with the song file now.
I found one "bug" i think...
i fell under these stairs
i could'nt get out and had to restart.
Maybe you can make some piece of "white" wall or something under here

Thanks for that! I will just add an invisible brush so you cant fall under it.
Also what was the texture you used for the water/goo underneath the turrets? I really like the way that looks.

I loved this map. It was kind of simple but I loved the detail that this map had. At first glance the whole map looks extremely difficult, but I like how the solution becomes clear as you continue through the chamber. I would have uploaded my first run through of it but Fraps stopped working mid-way through, sorry. Also what was the texture you used for the water/goo underneath the turrets? The texture is anim_wp/framework/backpanels
Updated with some fixes.
Puzzle-wise, this was better than your last map, but the looks detracted from the playing experience. 3/5.

A fun but kind of short map - I would have liked to have seen this combined into one 2-chamber or even better, a 3-chamber map, with your juggling map or something else. That way just as you think "ahh rats it's over" . . . a new, challenging room appears. 3.5 out of 5 for the play and 5 of 5 for the environment.
