Turret in goo

I have a setup involving a toxicslime brush, and a trigger_multiple set to dissolve. This makes a pit of the slime in found in many SP campaign test chambers. When I drop in any type of cube, it is destroyed like normal. However, turrets simply sit in the bottom of the goo. How do i make the turrets get fizzled?

Make sure you have the npc flag checked.

I did check the NPC flag. Nothing changed. Then I checked the "Everything" flag. Still no change.

Do you have onstarttouch !activator dissolve?

another thing you could do is add a trigger_portal_cleanser and have everything flagged :smile:

use kill and add a sound, i dont think turrets work with dissolve.
i don't know why you would dissolve it, The properties of goo aren't like that.
I just use kill with a goo dissolve sound.

You can dissolve turrets, but in goo they usually used kill (for cubes) if I remember right.

Why are you people using dissolve? Slime is NOT a fizzler. Its a liquid of some kind. Possibly acid.

You should be using !activator > kill

But if you HAVE to use your method your trigger should ressemble something like:

OnStartTouch > !activator > Dissolve > 0.00
OnStartTouch > !activator > SelfDestruct(opt. selfdestructimmediatly) > 0.00

2 things, maybe the acid is soo strong it dissolves metal?

It is dissolved by glados. Like how she dissolves wcc whenever she wants
