Cheers El, that was good fun.
Second part of the first chamber had me scratching my head for a bit, I must've tried every combination of portals and bridges to catch those cubes; so when I realised the second bit you were talking about was a whole other chamber, it was a happy surprise! Anyway, liked the puzzles, liked the varied sort of layouts and parts, and the general idea of the 2nd bit. That bit was easier than it looked (looked confusing as hell), so I've included a more fun solution =)
Oh, and first time I think I've seen a portal being used exclusively as a window; It felt dirty not pushing things into it.

@Logic - sent you a PM a while back; not sure if you noticed.

@sicklebrick - thanks for the vid! A weird mix of ninja shortcuts and needlessly complicated solutions. I won't bother blocking any of those routes because I doubt many will actually even attempt them....

EDIT: Also @sicklebrick - when first loading the page your Youtube video's displayed frame is totally spoiling the first chamber's solution - any chance of maybe changing or hiding it?

Challenging puzzles.
I got trapped in the second chamber; in the right funnel area and on the center square platform. I couldn't see a way to the entry platform from either, had to restart.
Also didn't need the defective light bridge in the second chamber.
Nice map - thanks for creating.

I'm aware of that, but allowing a way back would mean quite a hefty redesign in order to prevent players getting the cube by simply chucking it over there. If you have the funnel or the bridge active you should be able to get back, though, and it autosaves regularly in that chamber so dying/reloading isn't much of an issue.> Quote:

Seriously? That's quite a problem.... How did you get to the exit? In fact, how did you even get out of the top room?

||To get down from the 3 fizzler ball puzzle, it requires a very precise jump to the catwalk (by the way, never had to use the button that the catwalk leads to, I'll explain that a couple sentences later). Then there is a portal-able wall above the busted up fling panel. Line up the portal with the "funnel" thing (not the Excursion Funnel) that leads to the Aerial Faith Plate (requires precision and careful stepping to not fall off the ledge to place, also used this method to get the cube first time around). Place a portal on the platform below the cube dropper. Just press the button to get another cube. The aligned portal should fling the cube directly to the Aerial Faith Plate. Grab the cube before it flings into the fizzler. Place the cube on the button to keep the Excursion Funnel activated. Keeping the precisely placed portal in the place that you lined up with the "funnel", fire the other portal at the end of the Excursion Funnel. Then just ride to the exit. You will need to place one more portal to even reach the panels that lead to the exit.

Also never had to go to that room near the "funnel" to activate that button thanks to that thing I did twice with the cube mentioned earlier.||

When I saw this was a map I had played before, I stopped my recording. Sorry! I deprived you of some real hilarious failures in the new (to me) second chamber.

Your tweaks to the first chamber were definitely an improvement. It was easy enough to bounce the cubes off the gel-covered bridges that my wacky random bounces from before would have been a complete waste of time.

The second room was a little weird looking, but that's OK. I like weird. I think I found all the intended solutions, because nothing seem forced. I was wondering if blocking myself with the lightbridge while I returned with the last cube via the faithplate was intended. It seemed the portal placement on that was real touchy.

I liked the first room even more than before, and the second chamber was a nice test without being too frustrating (getting the sphere in the socket took a few too many tries). 4/5 from me.

EDIT: I replayed it today. Here's my playthrough, minus a few brain farts.

I love evrything about this map, from the long playtime offered by the two large chambers . . . to the many tricky but "doable" puzzle elements (doable is now a key thing for me - no more GrayArea genius puzzles for me). This has so many intricate twists and turns and a lot of "ahaaaa I got it . . . only to be followed by . . . actually I DON'T got it !!).

Quite simply, a BLAST

Loved this map, it was real fun to play. A lot of head scratching moments, but eventually completed it. Thanks for the map.

Sorry for the long delay in responding, everyone - been away from home for just over a week. I've just updated the map to fix the bugs that wildgoosespeeder mentioned - many thanks for pointing them out. I don't think it's very easy to do the second chamber out of order now, though I suspect one of the resident ninja will prove me wrong on that point....

@Kenn Kong - yeah, you got most of the solutions as intended, aside from the way you got into the green room (which won't be possible any longer) and taking a long route back from the top room (You should be able to shoot the bridge out from where the camera is and easily make the jump down to the railing on the left).

The way you got the cube back at the end is the original intended solution, although there a couple of others that I purposefully left in that are arguably easier. I really like how you made it to the exit at the end - not exactly what I had in mind, but cool enough for me to leave it alone.

I might post an intended solution vid sometime later on anyway. I think my best time is about 5 and a half minutes...

By the way, do you play with a controller?

Also @PCDoc and Haggis - Thanks for the praise! always good to know people are enjoying it.
