invisible turret

I need a turret which is invisible/doesn't render, but still is fully functional. --> I want to create bullets, which are shot from another source than the turret itself to a certain aim. The advantage of this invisible turret would be, that I could order it to shoot at certain places, aswell order it to start and stop .
(Although I could use a normal turret for the same task, it is vital for the player of my mappack, that he sees the bullet come out of another machine.)

The npc_portal_turret_floor though, has no "render" property. Anyone knows a solution for that?

TopHATTWaffle made a tutorial a long time ago on how to make a player tracking turret. I'm sure you could follow similar steps but without the visible brushwork, so it is effectively invisible.

Here are the videos:

Sometimes it occludes, sometimes it doesn't. Zooming in is causing problems. Also, the props for the machine itself will be occluded.

The tutorial doesn't help me. My bullets should be able to go through portals.

-SOLVED- I gave the turret the input "disableDraw" and it worked, although that command is not listed under his inputs. Still thanks for your help.
