[SP] Without Portalgun 3: Paint the Conveyor

Perhaps, this is my last Without Portalgun map. I continue to develop idea of puzzles that must be solved without using the Portal Device. This map contains multiple gels, excursion funnel and a brand new testing element. It is conveyor.

Known issues
- There are some visual glitches on conveyor. Like this:http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/559815280048389276/91042EF7B65A75841A8F711A63DB61BD89DB0AFD/- There are also some bugs on conveyor. If you bounce on Propulsion gel on conveyor you won't move forward.

Very good map, beautifull and original.

(between the conveyor and the rest, fall because of a hole is annoying. :/)

It was good, a bit shorter then I expected, but good nonetheless. I'm not really a big fan of maps without the portal gun, but this worked. I would have made it a bit longer though I was kinda disappointed when I saw the exit elevator after just 3-5 minutes of playing. But I shouldn't say anything, I've only made one map that takes players 2 minutes to solve xD

Good idea and pretty fun puzzle. Little bit too short and too easy in my opinion but making a hard puzzle without a portalgun is hard.

Only thing I found annoying was falling to the side of the conveyor belt. You could add a player clip to there.

Great job and I hope we hear more from you.

I was half expecting this to suck without the gun... but I was actually having a bunch of fun
I found myself wanting (and expecting) more at the exit elevator. Great visuals, and a pretty solid puzzle though, cheers

This was pretty cool. I think I actually took the most time trying to figure out what the first button was triggering.....Seemed pretty obvious once I figured it out..

This was fun - nice looking too - very thoughtful - wish it would have been longer. I normally don't like puzzles without a portalgun - but I did like this one - always seemed to know what to do and where to go - no problems there - loved those last few jumps to the exit elevator. Thanks for making - let's see something longer!

Well done, another map without the portal gun. Although the map wasn't as creative anymore, regarding stepping on and off buttons is most of the work, the repulsion gel cushion you had to jump repeatedly was quite unique.

I got quite frustrated by the counter-intuitive non-conservation of momentum on the conveyor. When you're flying down the conveyor and you jump, you expect to continue moving forward at the same speed, but instead you stop in mid-air. Then again, blue gel has never been my friend. I also didn't enjoy falling off the map every time I didn't land where I expected. 3/5 from me.

Update

  • Added more support panels near the conveyor.
  • Added trigger_push above the conveyor that helps players jump to funnel.
  • Design and visuals update.
  • Steam Workshop Integration.
