Herman the hermit cube can help.
It's a simple puzzle with a cute solution. The concept behind this puzzle originated from my four-year-old son.

Didn't know that particular detail behind 'Herman'.
Same. Really cool idea.
He is also my first playtester for all of my custom maps.
He gives me blunt, honest feedback: "This area is too cramped", "The entrance is too dark".
He is invaluable in my design process.

Little kids are awesome to have for game design. They're not hindered by adult logic. I had a friend who was making a horror game, and made most of the monster / character designs from things his 2 or 3 year old described. And they were totally insane and awesome.
