Couldn't you just have uploaded the maps as a collection instead of making 5 threads? -.-

That would've probably been better.

Sigh... I just played #5, and skipped the whole puzzle. Hoped to see something better, but nope. Didn't need to take out the turrets, didn't need to drop the ball, not sure what everything else was for. Just put some conversion gel by the exit door...

I'm not going to bother to play #2, 3, and 4. I've seen enough of what the maps are like. 1/5 for effort.

Ok, I couldn't resist playing the other maps and wow, my disappointment continues. Chamber 2 - why the hell is this called medium difficulty? You grab the cube in front of you and portal over to the other side. HOW IS THAT MEDIUM DIFFICULTY? Because of the turrets? Which, by the way,in NONE of your maps you have to destroy. Chamber 3, oh god, chamber 3. I walk into the puzzle: I see an excursion funnel, buttons everywhere, propulsion gel, panels, a redirection cube, and lots more. Guess what? Portal on the wall, hit the button by the frankencube and YOU'RE DONE. I DIDNT HAVE TO USE ANY OF THE ELEMENTS IN THAT ENTIRE TEST. I don't mean to be harsh but this almost seems like a complete troll map pack. It's insanity.

You clearly need the assistance of playtesters. I'm available, PM me. 2/5 for the whole series.

I have to agree with the others.

Chamber 1: Like UsCobra said, you don't need the sphere or the flip panel above the exit. Instead, you just place some white gel in the starting area and some at the exit and you're done. If anything, the sphere button should open the exit door, but that would still be a too easy chamber.

Chamber 2: Just place a portal near the faithplate and walk through with the cube, be launched to the exit button, done.

Chamber 3: Seeing all the elements I first thought there'd be a real puzzle in this one. But all there is to do is ignore everything and jump on the faithplate, hit the exit button, done.

Chamber 4: The best one so far because the player finally has to do something to reach the exit. Unfortuately all he has to do is place one white gel drop after the other which is pretty boring.

Chamber 5: After doing the speed gel jump, just portal to the second exit button and portal back to hit the first one, done. That whole other area is not needed at all.

This is not meant to discourage you from making maps at all. But you should probably first play some of the maps you find uploaded here to get an idea what "medium" or "hard" difficulty means.
Also, I assume you are pretty young. Maybe it would be a good idea to share these maps with friends of your age for now. Unfortunately, they are too easy for the seasoned players here.

Chamber 1:
- Difficulty: Really easy
- You can just fling yourself to the exit
- 2 portals + 1 button press
- Takes less than 10 seconds to solve

Chamber 2:
- Difficulty: Really easy
- You just fling yourself to the exit (again)
- 2 portals + 1 cube grab + 1 cube drop
- Takes less than 15 seconds to solve

Chamber 3:
- Difficulty: Easy
- You don't have to use the gel or the funnel
- 3 portals + 3 button presses + 1 cube grab + 1 cube drop
- Takes less than 60 seconds to solve

Chamber 4:
- Difficulty: Easy
- You have to use all the elements!
- 20-30 portals
- Takes less than 2 minutes to solve

Chamber 4:
- Difficulty: Easy
- You don't have to use one of the lightbrigdes or the funnel
- 10-15 portals
- Takes less than 2 minutes to solve

NOTE: When talking about the time it takes to solve the cambers I mean the time it took for me to play through the second time around...

Everything was so damn obvious. You didn't need to use all the elements.

The maps wasn't good...

...at all.

  • Difficulty: lol....
  • You only have to use the repulsion gel that's already placed
  • 2 Portals + 1 Button press
  • Takes about 10 seconds to solve

I think I did it a bit differently... Put a portal closest to the button that opens the exit door, jump on the blue gel and hit the button and you're done...
