Many world portals

For my first map, I built an unfolded Tesseract, which is a 4 dimensional object with 8 cubes in it. (Ever see the movie Hypercube?)
Most of the faces of the cubes are connected by world portals (linked_portal_door) except for the cubes which are adjacent in 3d. It might be the fact that there are 12 world portals, but this seems to be causing some odd graphical glitches, errors and bugs. I'm kinda overwhelmed at this point. Maybe I'm trying to do something a little too crazy with Portal 2 which it cannot handle?
Any input or comments appreciated.

I just posted this on the map thread:
If you have too many portals in your map, it will result in glitches and bugs. That's that. Not much else I can say, maybe someone found a way to fix it up...

The engine starts shitting bricks if you have more than 8 world portals.

World portals are also known for their buggyness. They were intended to link puzzles together so it was easier to link them together during development. They are NOT intended to be used as a test element, if you use them sparely they shouldn't cause problems but I already saw problems in a level taht only used two which could see eachother and caused a hell of a lot problem

man that is one complex map
you might be able to solve the problem with a lot of area portals to stop all the extra rendering, however I dont know if this will help once you start using your portal gun.
also there are quite a few problems with the portals being misnamed or something
also this isn't a real tesseract, but that is beside the point
nice try :smile:
try using hammer, and not the puzzle builder also

You know, this could work without rendering problems. Either put doors between all of them, or attach as many as you can together normally without world portals, but not in the "standard" net.
