HL2 Model Problem

Sorry, my new map is having a LOT of problems and errors. Hopefully this will be my last error thread for a while.

I've used the Portal 2 Content Porter to bring in some stuff from source-base. But whenever I try to select the human model I want in the model viewer, or prop_dynamic_create it in P2, or compile a map with it, or anything, the program crashes. Is there something I need to do to fix it? I already changed the DX version.

Fixed the crash by removing the JPG files. But now there's always an Error Loading Model. Is it because of a version error?

Now I've gotten most of the models to work, except for any human ones. That's weird.

Now some human ones work too. It seems that it crashes on anything with a ragdoll. Did the model format change a lot for Portal 2?

Source engine is compatible with older models. There shouldn't be any problem.

But whenever I try to select the model it crashes. Are you able to load the Source 2007 human models in Portal 2? It might just be my machine.

EDIT: If this doesn't work, can anyone make a basic human model for Portal 2, with a few animations (walk, run, crouch, walk crouching, etc.) or inheriting from the HL2 human animations? I'm terrible at modeling for source.

Partially solved--compiling the example human model works. It seems to be a problem with the base animation one.

Figured it out!

Portal 2 chokes on models which use ANI files! Does anyone know how to decompile/recompile them?
