Removing cordon areas

I'm using cordons to reduce compile time in my rather large map. However, my hands shake pretty badly, so when I go to edit cordon bounds, I miss and create another 1x1x1 cordon area. Now, I have many of these 1x1x1 cordon areas scattered around my map, and it's giving me the error, "Drastic memory overflow - Fell out of small block heap" (or something like that) Is there a way to remove all cordon areas and start from scratch, or do I just need to look around for any remaining cordon areas?

I'm not sure how you'd do this in hammer, but if no one has a better answer, you can edit the vmf in a text editor. Open the vmf, go to the very bottom, and delete the section starting with "cordons". This should go without saying, but backup your file before you try this.

Thanks, that worked. Maybe less caffeine or less mouse sensitivity would work too...

You could always click the edit cordon button instead of the new cordon button to change your cordons. Just saying.

Also that error appears when you cordon reguardless. You could ignore it I think.

Yea, pretty much always edit the cordon you've made to compile sections. Making a new one is just a nightmare, and I haven't found a way to correctly edit them, as they seem to be based on age (like the first one you make is the last one you can select). IDK, it's really confusing. I just stick with one when I map.

There's a cordon tab in the visgroups sections towards the right-hand side of hammer, which lets you control both cordons and the boxes which make up a cordon.

I wonder if this is a new feature. I don't use cordons very frequently as it is, but I totally don't remember this.
