I think this map is kinda hard, but I really need some feedback
Post your workshop maps here

My first Hammer modded map... that I've been able to publish. If I do say so myself, I think it's great (though one room isn't great, but I couldn't figure out a puzzle to put in that space.).
This is my newest map, have fun playing it!

Anyone want to try out my new map? And yes, this is the one im currently editing in hammer... Hope to make it better.

Hi all. I need testers who can pass my map "Reverse". No tricky skills, strafe jumps, etc required. Just unusual logic. You can read comments for hints under spoilers if you stuck.

Good luck and have fun!
My map, The Pretender:

It's my first map, so it may be a bit small and cramped. I'm trying to get used to integrating different structures before I move onto more grand puzzles.

My homage to a classic puzzle game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It's a full scale recreation of the Forest Temple, made with ample puzzles and Portal 2 styling.

I guess I should add this was done in Hammer, not the p2editor. It's on the workshop though, so this thread still seems fit
Can someone give me an indication of the difficulty level? I am getting mixed feedback from my friends.. (all one of them)

This map has no hidden tricks or cheats or anything, just straight forward - the start will most likely be easy - the final puzzle however should make you scratch your head..

This one requires 4 (or three if you are very on the ball) portals to be completed. I need to do something about the positioning of the portals though... puzzle works fine but the player in some instances can't see the line of sight of the lasers... It caused one of my mates to give up without solving it... seriously in need of feedback if the level is doable and if Hammer can make it clearer..
I've been making and playing maps since PetI came out (so not that long ago).
Here's a link to my workshop. I will probably select a few maps for a mappack to upload here in the near future (probably after the contest).

Which do I recommend? Well, the first in the mappack would probably be Light Glider, for various reasons.
Second HMW for his PTI Tools.
Anyway, here is a link to what I have created. The Tater Collection for your enjoyment.
10 Fun to play tests.
Difficulty: Most are Easy, but a couple are Medium.

Damn p2map_publish.exe won't let me place enough of a description. Anyway, its my first map I consider to be good enough for the people here. Most of it revolves around rockets, one is a fairly hard puzzle, one is pretty easy, one is extremely hard and timing based (you don't die if you get it wrong, its just that you have to hit a falling cube with a rocket so you can get it). After that comes a logic based puzzle I've done in one of my other maps. It features my edited instances (placing things more than once in Hammer is for people that aren't lazy!), it has been re textured.
I wasn't sure what color the lights should be, so I went with lime green. If you don't like it, comment on the workshop. Maybe I'll make it blue, or orange.

was going to submit this for the contest, but didn't know about the texture replacement feature
Also, if hitting the box is so obnoxiously hard with a rocket, why not try to optimize it in some way? Maybe you could use a temporary funnel, light bridge, perhaps loop the rocket so that eventually dropping boxes and the speeding rocket line up, I dunno, anything
How do I add a timed light bridge in Hammer? I mean, like what logic entities?
Oh, and one other thing, my entrance rooms are messed up, and I need to make a trigger to trigger the PTI's cube droppers and everything (so I can make a custom entrance room instance), what do I do? Do you have any idea?
I'm not a hammer expert, but maybe if it doesn't break the puzzle, and if rockets actually speed up when looped, and other puzzles don't break by portable walls on opposite sides try the idea I mentioned, I think it would be very cool to perform.
Double the Puzzle
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... d=88841827
A double bill of quite different testchambers, though they both involve getting a cube somewhere. I wanted to call it 'Double Bill' at first, but I wondered if anyone hadn't thought of this concept before, so I searched for it and saw that El Farmerino did that, so I renamed it to this.

Hope you won't find that one too easy
