Info_Particle_System Problems??

Another Hammer problem 
Anyway, for some reason... when I place an info particle system and try to use the particle browser (to choose one), no particles come up at all (in the browser), its set to all mods and I've re scanned like 10 times. Wtf is up? Is it supposed to be like that? How do I fix it?
Pleaaaassseeee don't tell me I need to validate my cache!!!

no, that just doesn't work look them up on the VDC
I found them for you, because I know you wouldn't find them

How kind of you, thanks. And I could find them, I just tend to either post here, work around the problem, or figure it out myself.
