Here's a new one from me, Sea Spray: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... d=90812875

It's a logical puzzle that requires you and your portals to be in the right places in order to bridge a gap. Some more of my favorite creations:

Lasercross, which I posted earlier in the thread, but completely remade: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... d=89048223

Pierce, a relatively simple puzzle involving laser redirection: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... d=86594540

Direct and Redirect, an exercise in funnel polarity switching and transport: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... d=76015021

Gap Bounce, a chamber that requires a minor detour through a bounce gel challenge to reach the exit: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... d=68629662

Lasers and Light Bridges, a difficult logical puzzle that requires you to use lasers to activate hard light bridges and reach the exit: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... d=74399593

Delayed Ripple Effect, a funnel and cube puzzle inspired by some of Mevious' work: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... d=74133001

Faith Redirection, with more of an emphasis on fun than difficulty (still a puzzle, however): http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... d=73180691

Here's my Coop collection "Scientific collaboration", I keep adding a map every day or two. There is mostly no reflexes involved, you can think your way through, and every map requires the combined use of all 4 portals at some point.

I've done mostly singleplayer maps before (link), and now enhanced some of them with the BEEMOD (most notably "The Cube", it would have been very hard without the autosave feature - Thanks very much Ben!).

Any feedback would be appreciated, hope you enjoy my submissions

Hey all,

Here's another single player puzzle for you all to solve. It's doing something fun with repulsion gel and logical thinking.

Bicubular Launch
This moderate length test chamber requires the test participant to collect two cubes before being allowed to continue. Your main issue is that the cubes love swimming.

Expect some flinging, some gel, some timing and plentiful of logical thinking to solve this test.
Cleverness, and some speed, will be required to complete this challenge. Do you have what it takes?

I think this is my best map, would love some feedback!
(unfortunately the map somehow got deleted from my game and the maps aren't syncing from my cloud saves so I can't edit the map anymore... anyone know how to fix this?)

Hello ThinkingWithPortals! I've been messing around with the puzzle creator for some time now, and really enjoy making puzzles in it. So I'm posting my puzzles here in the hopes that other people can share in that enjoyment. Whilst my puzzles probably can't hold a candle to some of the other ones on this site, I'd still appreciate it if even just one person were to try one of them out, and give me constructive criticism/any other kind of advice on how to make them better. Anyway. Without further ado...

**Singleplayer Maps:**

The cream of the crop (My singleplayer maps that I deem the best. Not to say the others are rubbish... these merely stand slightly taller above the crowd)

Hard Light Laser bright
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=72461642
What I consider to be my best test, even if the bit at the beginning is a little pointless

The Cube of Destiny
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=87916284
My other best test

The Rest (All my other Singleplayer Maps. They're still good, just not as brilliant as the first two. Still, please try them) In chronological order, from most recent:

The Hurdle
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92274281

Above and Below
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=91497293

Funnels and Faith-Plates
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=87479205

Pillars of Hope
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=86276993

Conservation of Momentum
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=72787939

Holding Bay
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=72192649
This one relies on what can be seen as a glitch though... I'd still reccomend it, but only after everything else.

Unstationary
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=71859805

Reaching to the Converted
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=71665437
Yeah, I made a "conversion gel EVERYWHERE" map. Sue me. Still though, this one does have a bit of puzzle in it...

**Cooperative Maps (Again, in chronological order from most recent):**

Light Bridge over Troubled Waters
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92510173
Not as hard as my other Co-Op maps, but still difficult. I hope. Also takes a teensy bit of portal ninja-ness, but no more than the default Co-Op campaign needed...

Transfer Lock
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92211336

Faraday Cage
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92049477
One of my personal favorites

Assembly Line
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=91489985

Discouraging Prospect
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=91417471
Another of my personal favorites

Thank you for taking your time in reading this post, and thank you even more if you do play some of my maps

Tricky minimalist test, solved only with conversion gel bombs.

Crazy Eight is a single player game authored in Hammer. Rather than the typical sequential set of chambers, it features a central starting chamber surrounded by eight other chambers which can be completed in any order. Complete all eight to get open the exit door. Contains light bridges, catapults, excursion funnels, gel, lasers. Something for everyone. You'll also find some experimental designs the lab boys have been working on.

This is intended to be a challenging advanced map requiring thinking outside the box, and some exploration without getting bogged down trying to figure out some obscure solution. No ninja skills required.
View screen shots here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/dilbot/screenshots/
This version 1 of the map that has the starting chamber and chamber 7 completed. The others are still under development and will be added over time. However, in order to get the exit door open at this stage of development, there are "place holder" items that can be used to simulate completion of the incomplete chambers. Even these pose a variety of challenges to activate.

Feedback is appreciated. You can help determine what's in the final versions of the remaining chambers.

I've searched TWP and the Valve community, but have been unable to find out the best way to update a hammer authored map that has been released through the workshop. (Found the instructions for the old way... version number on new file, etc. but nothing for updating a release via the workshop page) It seems I could just delete the old one, and updload the new one, but I'm not sure what side effects that would have on subscriptions, ratings, etc. Is there a preferred way to do this?

Thanks

Using p2map_publish, can't you click "Edit" on the existing one and then browse for a new file?
