I had some trouble with portal 2, I decided to uninstall it and re-install it. Problem is however; it thinks it only is 127 mb large. When downloading it it's even only 46.6. OBVIOUSLY it's not working anymore. Trying to verify gives one failed file. OBVIOUSLY it's still not worked either. So verify it again, 1 file missing again, verify again etc.

I tried verifying it again, after 25 tries I still haven't got it to work.

I've tried to remove all files, checked registry files etc, still not working.

ANY suggestions on how I can get my portal 2 to work properly again?

zivi7 gave me the suggestion to quit steam, to get rid of the entire appcache folder and restart steam again.
This worked now I can sit back and wait for the 11gb to download
