I don't know if this is P2Editor exclusive, but...
Trigger_push directions rotate properly when an instance is now!

did it not always work?
I built a pneumatic diversity vent map before the PTI using instanced vactubes.
though I do recall some people having troubles with them when portal 2 first came out

I remembered that this was at least an issue two months ago for me. I solved the problem by not setting a direction, but a target entity.

This was a problem some time ago for me.
Setting the push direction of each push manually for my pipe maze was annoying.

I noticed that some things only rotate properly (or move in the proper direction) when parented to something else. (Just an info_target will do.)

What about func_movelinear? That was a big one.

Haven't tried that one yet, but I imagine it would rotate properly as well.
If the trigger_push thing breaks I'll use the targets, I hadn't thought of that.

This used to be a problem with my stickybutton instance. I'm glad it's fixed now.
Won't have to use as many trigger catapults anymore

I always had problems getting stuck in the tube or even just the entrance. It never occured to me to use a target and not a direction angle
