Custom audio files not playing in-game
Back: To convert sample rate it isn't very hard at all. Open the file in Audacity, tell it to read directly (I don't know why it does that for WAVs), change the sample rate drop-down in the bottom left, and export back (not Save).

after adding an audio file, on the top right side there is a tab that says basic settings, click it and go down to audio codec, the frame below changes to more advanced settings and the sample rate shows up.

I do use Adobe Audition 3.0. for long time... it's really good for editting sound (I use Reason 5.0 for producing sound...)
