Getting the first cube behind the fizzler was such a nice move!
Getting the second out of the little room was probably unintended because I simply funneled myself up in the funnel room and then placed a portal through that hole above the fizzler.
I managed to get one cube to the upper area but then I got stuck. Don't know how to activate both of the buttons and have a portal for the funnel to get to the exit. That seems very tricky. I like it.
Well I couldn't find anything better and strafejumped from the stairs to the exit. You might want to fix that.
I'll continue testing tomorrow!
Cheers
Once you move the first cube, the second one is very easy to move as well although my method is a little different. This is one part of the map where I got a bit lazy and could have come up with a proper puzzle-step.
Thanks for letting me know about the strafejump. It should be fixed now.
Good luck with the ending and I'm looking forward to seeing how you've done it.

I found 2 ways of getting 2nd cube out of small room, dunno which is intended:
1.Cube is in button and is resting against my body, I can turn around, shoot the portal somewhere and and take it there
2.1 portal under funnel. Place 2nd portal on wall in the main room so it will move 2nd cube and activate its button. Remove cube 1 from funnel, enter little room, place portal 1 on wall and take 2nd cube to main room
Also dont know if my way of moving 1st cube is intended. Demo attached
Funnel one cube to the upper area while standing on the button and pressing the other cube against the wall button. Then go up with the funnel and deactivate the fizzler with the cube. Shoot a portal to the funnel source (under the fizzler) and then go behind the open fizzler. Grab the cube through the fizzler and kill it. It will respawn in the main area.
The go up to the grate and funnel the respawned cube inside the middle area. Needs good timing to switch the portals otherwise the cube gets fizzled. With a bit of luck both cubes will press the two buttons at the same time without the funnel...
Then funnel up again and finally drop into the pit and shot a portal at the wall in the funnel room to reach the exit. (You can drop down on the lasergrid model to avoid the nasty quickshot while falling)
Sry normally I'd post a video but I'm not at my home pc. So have fun with my english
solid 5/5
EDIT: BTW, the way you got the two cubes to activate both buttons is the same way I got the second cube out of its room. And that gave me the idea for the final step.
I got the second cube by portaling up on the wall by the entrance and shooting through the gap above the fizzler.
I put a portal on the funnel by crouching and shooting under the fizzler upstairsUltimately, my solution was to stack the cubes on the button using the funnel like so: Spoiler alert!
Edit: I got so caught up in the details, I forgot to comment on the map as a whole! On the grayarea difficulty scale (where a 10 is like an eleventeen compared to almost anyone else) this is just a 5. Very little ninja stuff (I made it to the exit on the fifth try). The main trick took many attempts to pull off, but I think I may have made it harder on myself by the way I placed the cubes. It's nice to know that even with one hand tied behind your back by the PTI editor, you can still crank out these awesome puzzles.
I'm suprised that you guys have come up with such a variety of methods to get the second cube. I just funnel it into the wall button in that room and carry it through portals to the main area. But anyway, that's not really part of the puzzle.
@marKiu: yeah you got it! One reason I made the exit room so tall was to discourage people from trying to shoot the super ninja falling version, so it sounds like your ending is exactly as intended.
@RogerL: the way I do it requires a bit of timing but it doesn't feel hard at all. Maybe practice it from downstairs first so you can more easily see what's going wrong.
It's a shame that the second cube room gave you a hint! It was partly meant to reinforce the idea of using wall buttons normally with a funnel. Mapper-fail!
@KennKong: your second-cube solution is just fine since I wasn't planning any tricky move for that. Your cube stack is totally intended, well done! Note that this two-button stack is extremely reliable if you place the cube and funnel neatly.
I'm curious how you guys moved a cube upstairs. It's meant to be a bit tricky so I have a feeling I may have left an easy method open?
Thanks a lot for playing!

I just funneled it over while standing on the button and holding the cube against the receptacle. If you let go of the cube and push against it, you can turn around and watch the other go over.
I thought the way I got the second cube was a brilliant foreshadowing on your part of the final step in the puzzle; I wouldn't change that at all.
And nevermind, my failure to pull off the cube moves was because I was trying a completely convoluted way of moving it there. I found a much more reliable route. Sometimes I do the hard stuff easy, and sometimes I do the easy stuff stupid.

Now the relays under the ceiling make sense... Btw none mentioned the bridge yet.... It was staring at me every time i was playing the map... SCARY

I could be wrong, but I think the bridge is a red herring, much like I think the button for the laser grid turns out to be. Obviously, a lot of thought went into the design, not only to make the solution hard, but to lead us astray. But I kept wondering why those laser relays are there when there is no laser ... just decoration? And then also why is the ceiling multi-leveled? Why go to the trouble of doing that when you also have to add extra glass to block exploits? I figured it had to add up to something. I'm just glad I didn't have to actually hit those relays with weird angled lasers to complete the puzzle. When I first walked in and saw those, I just about quit right away.
I wanted to keep this one 100% PTI, so I couldn't just add a timer on the wall.
After getting up top, with cube 1 funneled up against the "square" button, move cube 2 to disable the laser grid. Then there is just a quick pair of portals to finish. Shoot the first portal onto the side wall of the main room (moving the funnel) - cube 1 falls onto the floor button, disabling the 3 lower fizzlers, and meanwhile the "timing" cube starts to fall and after a split-second clears the laser beam to enable the upper fizzler. During the split-second that all fizzlers are disabled, the second portal shot can be made to the far wall to funnel yourself to the exit. What's the prize for successfully using a red herring?
As you suspected, this use of the timing mechanism is not intended. I'll make a fix for that later. As for red herrings: I'm not yet saying what is or is not a red herring, but generally speaking I like using them to:
a) make the puzzle harder, and
b) possibly open the door to some cool tricks that I don't anticipate.

EDIT: c) sometimes a feature added as a red herring for the early part of a map, may end up being used for later parts of the map. This happened in my previous one Ignition.
Thanks for playing. The update will be a few hours as I'm not at home now.
Cheers.
