[PTI] Stairing Dual
Posted Feb 19, 2013
My 65th map. This puzzle consists of 6 sets of stairs. Most sets are dual stairs side by side. Cubes, buttons, lasers and tractor beams. Medium difficulty.

Is that the intended solution?

Yep, that was the intended solution. As you can see, this time I made sure there were no portalable panels that the player could see by peeking around a corner. Gotta love that last part. It kind of looked like you were thinking "I'll just portal these flip panels and take the cube with me and........oh crap, the fizzler field comes back on".
Thanks for sharing.

Hahah, that last fizzler got me too!
Loved this one though SF, seems like your puzzles are getting sliiiightly trickier each time, but still nice lengths and quite interesting, cheers

Hey,
I think I cheated the second part; other than that it was a great map.

That was a bit of cheating on the second part
. However, your portal placement and sequence is close to the actual solution. There's actually more than one method to the intended solution. That's probably why you were able to do it that way. As for the last part, the timing is slightly tight. I try to leave at least a second of comfort zone whenever I design something that way. When I was watching the video, right at about 10:40, you almost had it.

Anyhow, glad you liked it. Thanks for taking the time to upload your video.
Cheers.

yea; I was kind of sure that that was the intended solution; after watching it again; it's probably that darn small box the pti puts around it so you have to jump in that makes me fail the first time.

LOL. Don't feel bad. I'm probably the most awkward of them all. I usually stub my toe half the time when it comes to moving quick. I have my good days every now and then
