Basically, I want us all to compile a list of all puzzle concepts used in the Portal 2 community, so far. One, just to see how many I've missed. And so we can know what is already done so we can innovate.
The list excludes everything already shown to us in the Portal 2's main single player campaign.
The list may include Source exploits and glitches, as long as they logical and easy to implement.
So far, here is what I have:
- Cube stacking and climbing.
- Using polarized funnels to store paint, and reverse the direction to release
- Using blue paint and funnels to remove cubes from buttons
- Entering a fizzler to allow you to lay a clean portal (keeping a cube - or anything, in place)
- stacking two cubes on a cube button, with one being destroyed and the other falling on it.
- falling from the ceiling to gain momentum, and coming from the ground back to the ceiling again
- infinite falling for a better jump, moving a cube or spreading paint farther.
- trapping cubes in flip panels to make an angle
- using directional infleunce of funnels/light bridges to gain height
- using funnels to coat light bridges in blue paint
- moving cubes through grating
