The computer gibberish lines do not play ingame, anyone else getting this error?

The sound files seem to be corrupted. I tried 4 players, non of them played it.
But I think you can search for most of the sounds on youtube.
Or open the Portal vpk-files with GCFScape and look around in the sound/vo folder.

Www.portal2sounds.com should have them.

Also, is there somewhere that has the soundscapes? I can't seem to find previews of these

Aside from the list on the VDC I don't think there's anywhere else at all, and so, as much as we all wish there was, there isn't any place to preview them.

Of course, you can just open Portal 2, launch any map, then type "playsoundscape [name]" into console. It automatically gives you a preview of all the names underneath the box. When you find the one you like, write it down and use it.
