I was playing through a bunch of the most popular maps of the workshop this week today and recorded my playthroughs (they should be up on my channel tomorrow). The amount of crap was so overly high that there were 8 maps that were done blind in under 5 minutes; the record holder being 22 seconds.

Therefore I have a challenge: Find the worst map on the workshop and I'll give you the worst price ever! "Steam Community Beta Access" for the already long ago released updated community! Who doesn't want that?!

Rules:
1) The map must be horrible.
2) Only a maximum of three submissions per person.
3) The map must be uploaded before april 12th.
4) It can't be your own map.

I hope we can have a lot of fun showing the worst few maps.

I just can't believe that people rate such crappy maps so highly! I feel glad that the first maps I played before PTI were from here and not the workshop. At least here I learned good level design so that way I make my maps at least unbreakable and do-able.

For a second there, I thought they added Portal 1 to the workshop. It looks like a Portal 1 map from the Collab days...

Oh, come on. Some of the maps on the front page are ridiculous but having accidentally received lots of ratings from casual gamers does not make them worse then others. I'd like to view authors of "My first map" who get displayed prominently rather as victims. If you randomly play chambers you'll easily find far worse.

This one had a lasting impression of terribleness on me, completely delusional author who thinks his maps are masterpieces.

It seems the map has been republished with some changes, like his other failures. So maybe it's less terrible than it used to be.

Not sure if this counts, but it's an interesting case because it's the only map I have ever seen that has a rating of fewer than 3 stars. It's a rare combination of "has a lot of votes" and "most of them are negative".

probably because it has such an easy puzzle that people hate it, you can merely portal to the exit, and this is obvious to even bad portal players, where a lot of times this is possible, but people dont realize it
