Portal 1 Maps rebuilt for Portal 2
I haven't been active in the Portal community for a long time up until recently, when I finally realized just how powerful the PeTI Puzzle Creator is and began playing with it. That's why I've been visting this forum more recently lately and began looking up things.
Now the problem is, a long time ago I saw someone post screenshots of Test Chamber 13 from Portal 1, recreated for Portal 2. They didn't just import the map in Portal 2, they rebuilt it with the new Portal 2 textures and assets and I think a thermal discouragement beam instead of a high energy pellet.
However, I can't find any reference to it anymore. I've tried searching the forums and the map database, but nothing turned up. Did the person who was making it ever release it? Have people perhaps made rebuilds of the other chambers from Portal 1? I bet a complete rebuild of the original game with Portal 2 assets would be pretty amazing...

You are literally one of my least favorite people.
I know it's not perfect, but it makes it so much easier to test puzzle concepts and mess around with entity links. Especially when you throw BEEmod in. Also it means that people who are new to mapping for Source aren't thrown in at the deep end when they have to learn how to Hammer.

Yeah, but for some people, I can say they don't know what hammer is or are too lazy, so their just looking for mods that are making their maps ugly. Some people use trigger blocks for reconstructing panels which is totally unnecessary.
