I want to know from you test subjects what you want to test! Give me ideas of a testchamber that you want me to include in my map such as panel usage, testing elements, testchamber style (overgrown, destroyed, clean, construction). I would gladly work with anybody to complete this map. If anybody wants to help plz add me in steam.

I guess some of the best ideas are:
- Try to figure out something new, which was never seen before.
- play other maps and see if you get any new ideas then
- dont copy or rebuild any puzzle you just played, but think of a way to improve it or do it another way
- try everything you could imagine... if something works out fine, use it.

... and before you start: make sure you know how difficult you want it to be. :thumbup:

To put this simply all I need to know is:
• what style of map
• what kinds of testing elements (including mods)
• difficulty
• and if anyone wants to help

My personal preference is:
• Some interesting style, certainly not Clean unless it's made more interesting by detailing.
• A new testing element, introduced gradually and then used for a larger puzzle.
• Medium-hard to figure out, very easy to execute.
• Sorry, I tend to map by myself. You're welcome to any of my instances though.

Agreed, you should always come up with ideas. Familiarize yourself with the tools, then brainstorm what you think can be achieved. You'd be surprised, but there are truly almost no things that can't be done if you find a way around the tools with other entities and such. Everyone who says they cannot give you ideas is right, because good ideas and well executed maps come from experience and good source of original ideas.

Because the lack of creativity and the urging the others to be creative (the beginning) is what my post was about :3

I never told kai how to be creative. He can hang glittery human hearts from the ceiling for all I care.

The notepad in that video is a bi*** telling them how to be creative instead of letting them do it themselves. People that just want to be hand fed irritate me. That video irritates me. I'm irritating myself by being irritable. How irritating! :angrysquare:
