Im making a new project with a story of GLaDOS waking you up after a major shutdown and makes you turn on various Pneuatic Diversity Vents to transport cubes after each course.

Check out my horrific diagram of the main hub:https://www.dropbox.com/s/oloxbjn3idijlc8/My%20Portal%202%20Ideas-The%20Hud.png

If you agreed to help me ill tell you more in detail how i would like this project to be done and other stuff. If you have any questions please ask me on my group page http://steamcommunity.com/groups/P2_Mapping or add me as a friend on steam http://steamcommunity.com/id/kai13XD/
Im going to really need some help to complete this project. Please Consider.

Thanks! :3

Don't take this personally, but... I never join any mapping group, because:
1. they are very likely to come to nothing very soon
2. you do much work and someone other can claim to be the major creator in the public eye.
Your concept looks like created in 10 minutes, not because it's drawn badly, but because it sounds boring. Also, I'm not gonna join a mapping group, whose leader's avatar contains a dancing penis.

I have to agree with Brainstone on this one. Perhaps you should create some content first before trying to assemble a group.

I've spent weeks on maps that have never been release with a group project. But I'm not denying I didn't like working with them.

I think your immature profile icon isn't really going to help with getting people on your team.

And as always: if you want people to join your project you need to show your skillset first

I'm pretty sure spamming your own thread isn't the way to get people to join your project. Just sayin'.

The reason people want to see completed work before joining is because without it, you look like an idea person. Somebody who has this great idea for a mod or something, but wants everybody else to do the work. It also helps us believe that you're committed to the project and it's not just going to go under in a few weeks.

Still, I wish you luck on your project.

The thing why people want to see the skills is because it gives an indication if you know what you're doing. Say I want to make a mod with 20 test chambers; all difficult puzzles with a rich graphical style I can show them what I've made before and show that I'm able to pull something like that off.

On the other hand I know of mods where there are a lot of interesting ideas, but the people are not capable of making something like this, not appreciating all the complex work that is to be done. Not seeing the progress that's being made etc.

All in all when you're working on something with a team there needs to be mutual respect with everyone on the team, and in my opinion you can only lead a team if you also know what you're doing. And the best way to show that is by showing your previous work

Boy, this is a mapping help forum, don't doubt that, but PLEASE understand its meaning: we, mappers, help other mappers who actually map!

You could use your time to learn mapping instead of cry all the time and open threads asking for mappers to join your "project":

Does anybody want to work together to make a hammer map???

Plz give me portal 2 mapping ideas!!!

Plz Join My Mapping Group on Steam!

... And now this one too >.<

When you grow up you'll learn, amongst many things, patience and tolerance to frustration; qualities that you seem to be lacking of due to the way you are acting. Those are the qualities needed to map, altogether with perseverance.

When you start to map and find issues, post them here and we'll be glad to help you out. Also when you are able to finish something, post some pictures here so the rest become interested in making a group with you... Otherwise you won't get much, because the rest of us actually know that mapping requires much effort and we are not open to share our skills with ppl who can't make this effort.

Kai, try starting your own (maybe big?) Projects, so other Mappers can see "how" good your maps are and maybe want to map with you. ^^
