Pakrat Bik Videos

Hey,

Is it possible to pak .bik files using pakrat into the bsp, so they can be seen in workshop maps?

Would animated textures work as a video? It may not be the best idea, but you might be able to make slides for the video and then import them into vtfedit as an animated texture, then pair it with sound. The bik videos always lag too much on my computer anyway, I had to watch the portal 2 ending movie on YouTube.

It's possible, but the result would be enormous and would probably lag more than a BIK on your machine.

Yes, it's possible indeed. And result is not laggy or enormous at all, but it requires some brushwork to implement this "video" on elevator screens. Check this if interested.

Awesome, cause bik videos in maps are usually so laggy 1 bit of sound repeats over and over while the video is staggering through.
