Loading Screen?

Hello everyone,
I've been having this problem for quite some time now, but I hadn't realized it until I saw a video which showed the loading screen working properly.
When Portal 2 is loading something it shows the first bit of the loading screen (darkly), but then nothing changes until the map actually opens. Has anyone else run into this?

I think this has something to do with the performance of your PC
Sometimes, when my PC is busy and slower, I also don't see the loadingscreens properly^^

I only get this issue when running in tools mode.

Aha, that will be it. I set -tools in my launch options some time ago.
EDIT: YES! That did it! Thank you!
