Hey guys, we made this for our Mod City 17 Episode 1, we've been doing some new lighting work. Sadly this forum doesn't have videos, so go to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtWgf3sVPm0 to see it.

Why is everyone so obsessed with "perfect" shadows? Last time I checked, unless you are 1-2ft away from the surface which the show is projected it gets pretty blurry. No way something as small as a gun can project a perfect outline shadow on a wall 30ft away. And isn't this already possible via env projectedtexture? (with code changes to allow more than one per map obviously)

That's exactly what this is. MrTwo is calling it lighting to fool people.

The sound clip said, "Do not place genitals in the operational end of The Device" and since Chell is the one wielding The Device, it is impossible.

Yes, but the sound clips in the single player obviously point to much of what GLaDOS says as being canned responses to a certain extent. The subject holding it could be male, at some point.

Thank you, Captain Obvious. Everyone that played the original Testchamber 16 (first appearance of the Turrets) knows that most, if not all, of GLaDOS' responses are preset. As soon as your brain rationalizes the broken logic between "Well done, android." and the fact that Chell is human, it becomes very obvious.
The bts parts between Testchamber 19 and the GLaDOS Room couldn't have been canned responses, because apparently, this was the first time that someone had escaped.

||Ask yourself this: if that is the case, then who scribbled all those clues on the walls past Testchamber 19?

I don't think Chell is the first to escape. But she is the first to get that far; all the way to GLaDOS, and even killing her.||

Her AI is still alive. Her physical form, however, is destroyed, sucked through the malfunctioning portal that transported the GLaDOS hull and you outside of the facility. After all, you "Tore [GLaDOS] to pieces. And threw every piece into a fire."
