Not supposed to discuss illegal circumvention of licensing mechanisms on this board.

That's the thing; I'm not sure whether it is illegal or not. It might be that it only comes packaged with more expensive versions. Or not.

It's in the license agreement so it's illegal in the United States under the Digital Millennium Copyright act and under the appropriate equivalents in all other major countries.

Okay I have another problem now. Hammer is stuck in this loop thing where when I go to compile the map it tries to copy what it thinks is the "already compiled" map but doesn't find anything because I deleted that BSP (because of this error) So it doesn't compile a new one even when I try fiddling with the expert settings.

I did a leak check and looked for problems but everything is fine. I just restarted my computer aaaannnnnd....nope. It just spits this at me every time.

this is because vbsp isn't completing. VBSP not completing = no map to copy. fix that error up in the vbsp section

I didn't change anything in the vbsp though. I only tried different combonations of unticking and ticking HDR, Don't run game after compile and the file copy command.

EDIT: It says in the log that a displacement was found under func_brush which is not allowed.

I'll search for that I guess.

and other things get messed too like pictures in javascript won't load, no flash etc.
