Hey guys, I have a (new) problem.
I'm creating my next coop map, which I created with the default editor and then exported to hammer editor. After then I removed the default coop spawn location to replace that with my own created spawn location, but now all gels (blue and orange) are not represented in game now.

I have some pictures to show you my problem:

This picture shows that there should be orange gel to accelerate both coop partners.

When I click one of these default created entities I did not changed anything yet.

When I run the map in game there is no the gel.

By the way, these and another locations, where should be blue or orange gel, do not have droppers.
Finally, I also have created a copy of my map before I removed the default spawn location. When it's not possible to find a solution so that's does not matter. The original map works fine.

Can someone help me?

To make the paint splat instances cheap, there's logic inside the entry room to handle it. You can't actually place gel, so instead at map spawn (trigger hidden inside the blue dropper) the @pre_paint_sprayer are started and stopped. Just make a logic_auto set to Start the @pre_paint_sprayer OnMapSpawn, then Stop it after a second or so. (The output will appear invalid, hammer won't read inside instances to check whether or not entity names are valid).

There was some setting in the Map Settings to allow gel. Maybe it is turned off?

Alright, so in the toolbar on the top of Hammer, click the "Map" tab. Click "Map Properties," and look for the "Paint in map" setting, and change it to yes. If you did that already, then I've got nothing.

EDIT: Also, there's this useful developer site. Might help a bit.

Yes,... although sometimes this property isn't present into the WorldSpawn entity (Map's Properties). If you encounter this, disable SmartEdit and Add manually a new KeyValue called paintinmap with a value of 1.

Please, optimize your map before uploading.
