If it helps at all, I've come back after a 3 month break, and saw my currently planed maps in a different ligt. My mapping is comming along well now, and becaue I have the hose to mysef, I can suck it up and do the oice acting stuff, skill be damned! I SHOULD have the map pack finished in 2 ish months, hopefully.

that's the amount of time it takes to finish exams?
you have to respect that the mod is second priority to my exams. that's the reason why we have delayed the mod over and over.

You have 1 person coding a multiplayer for a game which has no multiplayer. You won't be releasing any time soon.

I saw many many mods try to create a multilayer Portal game. All failed miserably. I really don't think a multilayer mod is possible. The farthest I seen is that you can create portals, you just can't walk through them. Also if Portal multilayer was possible, They would have giving you the portalgun in Gmod officially.

So maybe if you do get it to work, people will have something to look at. So you better hope you know what you are doing cause you never promise or tell publicly on things you not sure you can do.

like I said. exam season for me. we weren't going to finish any time soon anyway.
might as well attempt to make a multiplayer for it during that time

they haven't done a lot of things with portal. they haven't released the portal source for one.

also, I said may. it is in progress. hopefully, it'll work, but it may not.

anyway, like I said before, this is getting waaaaaaaaaay too off topic.

In some aspect, this conversation shows us exactly what the forum expects.
And that is factual proof.
With the lack of that, the whole board is thrown out of whack.
And thus, the end of what is a formal board is left to rot in chaos.
Although, this isn't really chaos. More like bickering.
Either way, we're still on topic in my mind.
