Hey there,
I'm new to this site and wanted to play some of your maps. But how can I install them?

After downloading them you'll need to place them in the Portal directory you currently have Portal 2 installed onto.
Your path should be something along these lines: F:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\portal2\maps
The maps folder is where the bsp files (maps) need to go.

After you placed the bsp file in the correct folder, you need to enable the developer console in the Portal 2 settings. Then open the console and type:
map map_name_here
map map_name_here
But I'm sure there are hundreds of descriptions about how to do this on the net.
