Making the elevator go down + no portalgun

Hey, I'm having some issues with making the elevator go down, and not up, plus start with no portalgun. I've looked at some custom maps .vmf files, but can't get it to work.

That'll be the transition instance. There are several different fixes around. I would reccomend looking at the "Working with Instances" thread. That has all you need to know. Also, the elevator that goes up is the Wheatley chapters instance, so that's why it goes up - going towards him in the campaign. It's not a big problem, is it?

Not a big problem, but it's great to know how to do it. Starting with no portalgun is an important point in my map.

I use instances/tube_elevator/elevator_structure.vmf and instances/tube_elevator/elevator_structure.vmf for the entrance elevator and don't get a gun automatically added.
