Chapter 1: The Escape, is being re-modeled down to the last brick...
I've finally found out why I was having trouble with textures...
Little did I know, you can scroll through the grids... lol

Since I use my laptop, it doesn't have a scroller to move through the grid but after watching some videos, I plugged in my wireless mouse and... "Explosion, Fireworks, Smiley faces... just filled the air. TheBrandNew Chapter 1: The Escape is already at work and I am really looking for some help.. This time though.. I'll be making the map, but I would really love some beta-testers.. or even people who are talented with hammer and its difficult non-common things. If you are interested let me know. This project is big and I would hate to take all the glory for myself

Also: My maps will be sent out seperatley, I mentioned before I wasn't going to do it again, but I love having people play the maps and give feedback and I just love the anticipation for new chapters.. I don't know if I will just (somehow erase the old map) or just issue an update, probably option number 2...

Alright, as wonderful as it is that you're crowdsourcing your storyline, there's no need to spam the forum with a new topic every time a story update is released. I'll hold off merging this into the original thread but please refrain from making more threads about this unless for some reason it's absolutely crucial.

I didn't mean to disrupt the peace Winston Smith. I'm pretty new to forums, I don't have time to figure out to use them either. Just wanted to post about the new update and besides, the other forum that has the name 'Story' in it, has nothing to do with this one. This one is explaining that I am currently re-working the map individually and the other one was asking for help. People aren't going to look at a subject for needing help if they don't want to help somebody, but are going to look at a subject about a re-designing of an old map that they might have enjoyed and would want to know about.

I understand your point of view, but the two subjects were never intertwined with each other. From now on, I will take an hour to understand how to work the forums before sending a 5 minuite message that has no effect on the script base function of this site.

We understand that you're new to the forums and that's why this thread wasn't deleted and you received a friendly reminder from Winston Smith (just about the nicest moderator there is). In the future, if you're going to make a post about "Chapter 1: The Escape" it's best to add it to the release thread. Also, if you want to make a single thread about your map pack as a whole, feel free to do so, but give it a more generic name (i.e., not just about an update) since it will be more useful to update in the future and not lose relevance. This helps keep the forums organized.
