Remake Portal

As a fun project I think it would be neat to remake portal for portal 2. What are you thoughts about this idea?

Does your mod replace the portal 1 elevators or does it heep the originals.

I reckon you should use the portal 2 elevators (the clean ones obviously)

I'd try to fallow portal 2's art style. So I would use Portal 2 tube elevators.

I can only see this reasonable if you're retconning what's changed in P2, and updating maps to new mechanics perhaps! Because otherwise, P1 already looks and plays the same as P2 if not for a different executable. :redface:

Well, if I were to make the chambers with different puzzles, it would be nice to start with the base map, so that's what I'm doing no matter what.
