I finally found a lot of things that are working, and I want to re-launch the site well before Portal 2 comes out.

Much better. I'd even say it's better than the forum before the site move. Although the downloads page is still not working.

I guess that's still to come.

I think the answer was no, but just to be sure, Sleeper, will we lose the files that was uploaded before the first move, when the database comes back up?

Yeah there's a lot of work ahead but I'm pretty optimistic. I really like this layout a lot.

I am hoping that I will be able to preserve the previous Download DB in one fashion or another. Worst case scenario is that we will have to re-upload things to the new system manually, but I'm mostly confident that won't be necessary.

I'd say it's going to lift off with Portal 2 again. Heres hoping that it doesn't die out fast like Portal 1 did, but I highly doubt that this time.

I do think that the Coop support is going to majorly extend the lifespan of Portal 2, more than Portal did. I'm a little surprised there is as much support for Portal given that it is 3 years after release with zero official content or... anything, really.
