Heh... it's not intended... a bit ugly for my taste... and there IS a way to synchronize yourself with the cube ride
Yeah, certainly not very clean. Now that you call that ugly I have some doubts about the first part as well. No, I wasn't wiggling my tail inside the funnel.
"... a new map version worths a thousand words..."
Version 1.2 about to be ready!
EDIT
v1.2 UP. @Toncica, and to the rest, try again, and all that you find you can still do is because it's intended
My solution still works and I don't think anything has changed. Portal bumping and everything works the same and that one prop is still unsolid.
The intro is already extremely cool, then all the sound effects are fitting perfectly into the scenery, and the look is simply mindblowing.
I was in the same situation like someone else said. I could bring up 2 out of 3 (me, cube, beam) to the laser. I guess I was stuck for around 90minutes after all. I never thought I have to destroy the cube and let a new one spawn which I can send over, until I just tried it finally.
The second part was - with the introduction into the puzzle style you got from the first part - not that difficult anymore, but felt really weird (not in a negative way, it's just a new puzzle style).
Just amazing what you created. It looks like a great site to find such diamonds. I'm glad that I came across here. Usually I play coop with my friend and all the awesome map creators are here that we recognized, like the Aperture Valentine team and such, really cool

Did you upload a wrong version?

Man sorry for the inconvenience, I did upload the new file "correctly", but apparently it's a known issue in the uploading page >.< Lp recommended me to change the name of the zipped file because sometimes the file doesn't get updated if you try a file under the same name... and it worked
So, updated now.
@Tom852: Thank you dude!
Really appreciate your comments! About the dot 1 and dot 2, heh, well, I designed the main part first (which is dot 2), and then I felt like I could take out more from the mechanics than that
and so I designed that "extra room"
I'm so glad you liked it

Yeah, those diamonds happen here at TWP :p

Ah, just finished the original version, but looking through the previous posts I think I did exactly the same as toncica...
If you mean that you stop yourself in the funnel waiting for the cube to reach the button, it's not intended, and I think I can prevent that... first attempt did not work properly, but I'll try another one later today
I'm sure I'll figure it out at some point though. (I haven't even solved the original yet, haha.)
I loved the lighting style and that water texture is fantastic. 5/5.
You make me happy in a gray day
I really appreciate it. Cheer up man, this just requires time until the a-ha moments pop up
Looking good so far, i am just not so good thinking of all that logical puzzles
, so I am stuck at the... well... beginning. I tried a lot of things, but I just dont get this working...
I got worked out, how to get to the blue laser bridge with the button, where I most likely have to bring the cube to... Unfortunately I cant move the cube, otherwise it will respawn the barriere and I dont get up to the damn button for the cube again. How did you guys managed to do that? So I can get up to the blue laser bridge WITH the cube?
I will upload at the End my Gameplay (of 3 hours xD) and speed it up when ... i find this damn solution
Again, Awesome map and it makes fun to try solving the puzzle
Not very often what i spend much time to solve hard maps, but this map makes fun
A question, how do you got the logical Idea for that Puzzle?
^^
There are a couple of ways to get the cube to the button to activate the light bridge: once you get up there, fire a portal through the broken glass close to the floor button with the cube on it. Then fire a portal to the portable floor under the "bridge" you are standing on and jump through it. Grab the cube off the button as you go by and land back onto the "bridge". This will require placing the cube ahead of time in a position that is within reach. You can do something similar using the funnel to pull the cube off the button instead.
What a great remix Jose! I was looking for a place to use the tile with chell on it but there is none. Or did I miss something?
The map looks amazing (as always) but sadly I'm not a fan of the destroyed theme. Not by the looks but it confuses me all the time. It took me ages to find the hole in the broken glass near the button to activate the lightbridge. Anyways awesome map! Kudos to you my friend (and toncica ofc)!

@RogerL Thats not the part where im stuck ^^ Im stuck at the Dead Laser Field ^^ I just didnt get Me, the Funnel and the cube to it ^^
I'm sorry, I misunderstood. That is quite tricky, but here is something to get you started: notice that there is a grate next to the fizzler in that room. While bouncing between two floor portals, shoot a portal through that grate to the wall directly behind the funnel. Go across the lightbridge and shoot a portal in the wall in line with the cube on the lightbridge button. You will want to use the funnel to fizzle the cube. It will probably take some time to get it all to work correctly, but use quicksaves and be patient. Good luck!
).
Now to solve the second part!
And it manages to be even harder than the original!
It took me a looooong time to find the solution. I decided to try and record a video of it, but unfortunately the second part (the original white room) didn't cooperate
I kept running out of funnel before the cube hit the fizzler button.
Anyway, here's the first part, up until the button cutscene: http://vimeo.com/72131685
Youtube decided to be obtuse today and didn't let me make a channel, so it's Vimeo instead. Also, since this is my first recording ever, I probably made every beginner mistake it's possible to make, and then even some that are quite impossible
But you can see what's happening, and that's the main thing
Anyway, awesome looks and awesome brain mashing as we have come to expect from Jose!
Just use Fraps or OBS (Open Broadcoast Software) ^^
EDIT: Solved the first part, now trying to solve the rest ^^ (Found the secret, Very cool
)
