Symbol Survey: Will you help my studies?

Posted Mar 07, 2012
For TAFE I have to survey a number of people on each of the symbols which I created. Reason for post
Seeing as I already told all my family members and a couple of friends what I was doing and cannot ask any classmates for their opinions because they are doing the same thing. Bias will follow!
I ask the very generous members of the TWP community to complete a quick online survey for me.
It is a 5 question survey with 4 multiple choice questions. So it will take you a minute. And would very much appreciate it if you actually answered the last question

If you want to participate: please only complete one of the three surveys and then vote what survey you completed. I need 6 people on each survey and everyone completing the first survey won't help me.

Survey 1
Survey 2
Survey 3

Thank you such much if you want to help!!

EDIT: Thanks so much people for completing the survey! :notworthy: I got 7 completed on 2, so I don't need anymore on that one. And yes I think 2 does look like the black mesa logo. Thought it when I finished making it.

Thank you so much Kaleido

@CaretCaret Symbol Analysis. i.e. look at a picture and tell me what you think it means / what it's about.

I took Survey #1. Hope this helps you out. It's a rather weird survey.

I chose to do survey two, dunno' why. Easy to do.

PS: Don't know if this spoils, but the symbol looks a lot like the black mesa logo!

Who wrote that there was no symbol? It was the giant picture on the first page.

EDIT: spoiler of 3
Also for anyone that did the foot one, the shape of the foot is 'Australia'. Perhaps I need to ask some australians because they would recognise it straight away.

Someone had some odd feet and needs to look at more maps.

Anyway people, my survey is complete! (I got a couple of people from work to help). Thanks all who participated.

If you wanted to know what it was about:

Carbon Tax.

Congrats to the people who said clean emissions / environmentally friendly / sustainability or carbon footprint.
The highest percentage of people to get around it was the one with the lightbulb (Survey 3) so this is probably the one I am going to refine.

Once again: thanks.

I knew that was you. And it helps to prove that symbol isn't exceptionally clear to Americans that are younger than 18...

In DK we're generally talking about being as environmentally friendly as possible. So the first thing i saw was a leaf (green) + a bulb (green+energy).
But as the country where windmills has home, it's an obvious answer...

Actually, I'm older than 18. And I have Epilepsy, so my perception of stuff is much different compared to most Americans (although I will admit that near half of Americans are morons). When I first thought of what it was, I was actually thinking of Bigfoot (Sasquatch) but then I thought, "Wait no, that's insane, it wouldn't look that deformed."

If I saw what some of the other pictures were, I might have figured it out. But I don't think that a deformed carbon footprint with a shape similar to Australia isn't the best symbol for environmental topics.
