I have the hardware to run Crysis quite smoothly on high (okay at some parts i get annoying framedrops, but no slideshow or anything). The video looks cool, but still I think this game was a big waste of money. Was bored to death within the day. Maybe not my type of game.

Alternatively to the Hedgehog, I was quite enthralled by Crysis. The gunfights were visceral and made me smile. Being in a building while it's falling apart from all the gunfire...attempting to hide behind trees but they keep getting shot down...jumping over walls and and taking the enemy by surprise. It was all very cool. A truly epic game.
I recorded some Crysis gameplay vids too. Doing stuff like THIS totally made my brain explode. I wish I recorded more gameplay further into the game but I didn't think about it.

I'm just no FPS lover. But some FPS I do like, like Half-Life (2 was okay, but not as fun as 1). Call of Duty 4 I enjoyed and some of the Rainbox Six games I liked. I'm more a RTS, puzzle and arcade player.
I just couldn't get into the Crysis story. So it was mainly walking and shooting and i don't even notice if something looks 10 times cooler than an another game.

I think crysis has nothing special in it except for the revolutionary high graphics.
OK. The suit brings cool gameplay elements, but they get bored after an hour. And what's up with the trilogy..
Another way for EA to get their hands on your money.

Crysis was meh.
Yes it look pretty, but the game just couldn't hold my attention. Also, I found the physics to be so messed up that they detracted from any enjoyment I was having.
