Was it just me? Or were there other peole who almost shed a tear when they realised that the '8 1/2 pounds discrepency in payload capacity' that they didn't worry about was Lemarr?

I thought that the discrepancy was a hint/reference to the achievement where you send the garden gnome into space.

nope, if you notice, just after Magnussun shouts at Kleiner for Lemarr being near the rocket, Lemarr crawls into the nose cone and then the hatch closes. Also, the weight doesn't change when you put the gnome in as well.

I didn't notice the first time. and before I got there the second time I'd already been told, which lessened the impact a little.
So I voted that I felt a little bad, which I would've the second time if I hadn't been told.

It was a sad moment indeed.
That lawn gnome though...I found one at the beginning of the game. Like, within the first 10 minutes...they seriously wanted me to carry that all the way to the end of the game!? That's insane. was there another lawn gnome closer to the end that I didn't see?

I never really found myself all that attached to Lemarr.
I'm sure his death added to the brilliance that was the explosion though. I'm just going to assume that he was required for a catalyst in order for everything to go off smootly.
