Oh I had this map that I'd been working on for two months and I was really proud of. Anyway I was working on it using a friends machine because at the time I didn't have a computer capable of playing decent games and this guy's computer was broken and he was about to go overseas for two months.
So I fixed the machine for him (faulty RAM, btw) and he let me use it while he was gone. When he came back he wanted it formatted so i copied everything I needed off it and did the job for him. Everything except the map I was working on. Even msleeper liked it, he recommended that I enter it in that month's contest.
There's no discouragement like losing two months of solid work which you're really proud of. It put me off source mapping for ages, and I kinda dropped off this site (and IRC) without notice.
Anyways, here I am.
