I broke the left button on the touch pad on my old laptop while playing TF2, so I kinda know the feeling. Of course, that had more to do with the thing getting old and all the external parts going bad in general than TF2 ... though I'm sure TF2 helped.

Just go easy on it. Portal doesn't require more than standard-strength mouse clicks.

I would never break my Geor9e! :'( That would make me epic sad seeing as I panicked when the spring for the clicker in the scroll wheel broke once.
