Alright, I just reinstalled photoshop about a week ago and just reinstalled the vtf photoshop plugin and every time I open up a vtf that uses an alpha channel, it is masked and only shows up as layer 0. Here is a pic of what I'm talking about.

I have no idea why it is doing this. I never had trouble with this before I reinstalled my photoshop, but apparently now I do have trouble.

Is there anyway to fix this without having to use a different program to skin?

How updated is that plugin? Personally I just use the official valve's vtex to convert/decompile from VTF into TGA.

I installed the most recent version of it. Version 1.0.10

And thats how you should compile and decompile textures. . .
