I think when Satchmo said he couldn't imagine it... he was IMAGINING it, he just didn't see it as any fragment of a good idea when he DID imagine it...

They wouldn't get married so soon and even if they get married anytime it won't be a "formal marriage"

There is quite a possibility that Alyx could die in the next HL
OR could get 'portalled' to an unknown space
OR g-man could put her into stasis

Yeah I wouldn't count on that. With the amount of time, storytelling, and resources VALVe has spent developing the relationship between the character and an NPC? Alyx is here to stay.

Plus her dad died in Ep2 so I'm thinking she would be the most awesome character to do some revengeful stuff.

There should be an easter egg where you can see father grigori running past a window with a line of zombies behind him, shooting backwards with his shotgun once and a while.

Or have a Grigori Headcrab Zombie, but I would doubt he would be in the arctic.

Only characters in HL2 I think would get killed: Mossman, Rebel(s), Combine/Advisors.
