ASUS vs. Acer <-- Click

Are these any good for running Portal and Portal 2 decently? Doesn't need to be the best, just good enough.

You're wasting money if you say "Doesn't need to be the best, just good enough.". Laptops are integrated and if one important component breaks = whole laptop breaks, and you can't update it. It might run Portal 2 with high settings at the beginning, but when its getting old, it gets more slower and slower and since it's laptop, you can't replace components.

Get it what I am saying? Buy custom PC and spend alot of money for it ### ONCE, than 1000$ every second or fourth year to get better laptop. And if laptop costs 1000$, you can get alot more powerful custom desktop PC with same price.

Believe me, thats how it is.

Hi, I am also here just for getting some suggestion for buying a laptop for my professional use. Actually I have started a diploma of website developing and I think I must have some thing which I could carry easily and the laptop is the best option. so please suggest me what type of the laptop I should buy also mentioned about the price too.
