Very nice map in the decayed style. The puzzles were more easy than medium. In ch 3 the turrets were present but were no obstacle - not pointed at player. Nice corridors between chambers.. thanks for creating...

It's been a while since a quality Decay map was released: but nostalgic welcome apart, stellar job! One really gets the impression of how much ground was covered from your previous efforts. Moody, more destruction & less in your face; catchy, streamlines a sequence of easy puzzles for a speedy progression; overall accessible and varied. In the end, might not be yet on the level of juggernauts such as Patent Pending (same "colorful decay") but it's definitely getting there.

To be really nitpicking, certain parts seemed under the rest: in particular, the funnel part in CH2 seemed bland and underused - I kept thinking some big backtrack through the area was incoming, but nope. And the puzzle structure mentioned above does indeed make it a fun run through, but at cost of complexity and difficulty.

Well done map, looks great! The puzzles were fairly easy, which is fine with me, although it was way too easy to get rid of the turrets so I might make that part harder.

I didn't bother loading the materials files, and it didn't affect the gameplay much, except that a couple of walls looked really weird (my daughter thought it was cool ).

My daughter managed to get stuck between sections 1 and 2. She made a portal in the wall just before going into section 2. Then she made a portal at the end of the tractor beam and went through it and got dumped back behind the door, which wouldn't open again.

I liked the map. Wasn't that hard except the end had me tilting

This is a very nice map, well done. It had me thinking quite a bit. As mentioned above, you may want to make a harder way to get rid of the turrets as all you have to do is pick it up, shoot both portals to get rid of both of them.

I have found a slight bug in which the cube got stuck in mid air. It was just the cube, and not the player being able to do that.

This map is one of the nicest I have played in quite a while. Dark and atmospheric, with brilliantly chosen music and a nice succession of puzzles that were easy, but in the good way. I had one issue - in the first room, I kept falling in the goo because the wreckage pile blocked my light bridge. It took me a few tries to work out why that was happening.

Despite my pitiful excuse for gaming, I certainly enjoyed this map, and I am looking forward greatly to your next release.

In the last room I was able to fling the cube up to the button room after setting up the lazers to remove the fizzler. I'm sure that wasn't the intended solution, but I thought I'd mention it.

I did the same thing as the guy above. I tried for a little while but could find no other solution. The other two rooms were much easier. I think maybe a time limit should've been added after you hit the button that removes the fizzler in the first room, which would've made things a little more interesting. In fact, I thought that was the whole reasoning behind the circle window, so you could beat some time limit.

Very good map. I did find a different solution to the last room from the two individuals above me. Again, great map.

A delightfully crafted decay map that has influential ties between Valve's maps and (perhaps) a custom map such as Patent Pending. As others have said, perhaps too easy in some parts, but I definitely enjoyed the laser portions of the puzzles.

A few minor things - the switch in the first room that turns off the fizzler is almost completely shrouded in darkness. When I used the light bridge to cross over to it, it was so dark that I stepped off it thinking the black tile reached all the way to the end and thus, drowned.

Also, an extremely minor thing, but the one texture zig-zag hallway connecting your puzzles was lackluster. I wouldn't bring it up normally, but it isn't a big deal, but detail-wise, the rest of your map is so top-notch when it comes to aesthetics, I just thought you might want to know.

Nice work!

Very nice puzzle. Not too hard, not too easy, but still gets you thinking. Everything seemed to be very well placed. 5/5

Nice map, I had fun with that. Design was good, but important thing, great puzzles. Not too easy not too hard, it was exactly that what I like. 5/5! Also, that second room, it reminds me a bit chamber from E3 Excursion funnels, but really a bit. But it doesn't mind of course, I like that.

I too flung the cube in the last room. Was there any other way?

I'm genuinely surprised that no one else did the final room's cube the way I did it...

Here's what I did:
1. Solved the laser puzzle by putting the laser through the portals and lining up the laser cube, so all the relays + the receiver were hit
2. Moved the portal the laser entered to the ceiling above the platform near the fizzler, so I could drop onto said platform by entering the portal through which the laser exited
3. Brought the weighted storage cube to that platform through the portal in the laser area
4. Stood on the platform by the fizzler and re-placed the portal for the laser to enter, thus re-solving the laser puzzle and disabling the fizzler with the cube by my side

Nice map, but all the test chamber signs were purple-and-black for me. I also had some difficulty manipulating the light bridges as they kept running into the junk on the floor. Still enjoyed it though, nice work!

Very nice map - really enjoyed it - not too easy and not too hard - liked the background music as well. In the 3rd chamber it took me a minute to figure out how to set up the
laser portals so I could get back up to put the cube on the button, but when I thought about it, of course, it was a simple soluton. Kudos, 5 cakes and keep up the great work!

If you really suppose us to solve room 03 by correctly placing the lasers rather than flinging the cube, then it's not medium difficulty. But I like the cube fling solution a lot - it adds something new to the gameplay, and having alternative solutions is a very Portalish thing. Nice mod!

If you had black'n'purple on there, you didnt installed materials right ways. They have been included in download.

Nice looking map, with enough length and variety that the simplicity of the puzzles didn't detract from the experience. 4/5.

You should compile custom materials into the .bsp file with bspzip.exe, or package everything in a .vpk.

Cool look, if a bit dark in places. Fun to play, puzzles were not difficult.

In room 3, I didn't even think about flinging the cube to the exit as so many others did. I just used the laser exit portal to get to the platform with the cube, then refired the laser's entry portal from there.

Also, after I got to the platform, it looked as though I was supposed to have killed the 2nd turret by aiming the laser through the angled panel hanging from the ceiling, but I just stood on the light bride underneath it, then reached up and grabbed it.

5/5 from me.

Yeah, this is a great map with pretty clear and easy puzzles. I also did no cube flinging in the last chamber, solved it the other way. The design and layout was great too, I only disliked the music in the last chamber (but I think that's just me). You deserve cake for creating this
